It has been a while! We just published a new project page describing Minerva, UbiLife’s latest smart educatio game. Shortly put, Minerva is an adaptive game for programming education in which adaptation is (currently) based on learning style and play style of the player.
Minerva was largely created by our soon-to-be-graduated MSc student Renny Lindberg and we evaluated the game at a Korean elementary school. Reception was great, yet several conceptual, technical and usability issues remain to be solved.
We’ll be developing Minerva further in months and years to come. Hopefully it will become adaptive to the player’s emotions at some point, too. Does that make you feel scared? 🙂
