New students have joined the Ubilife team at the beginning of Spring 2014 semester:
- Jung Ryul Seo is a master course student who will focus on activity recognition and context-awareness in his research. JungRyul’s work will complement Joonas Westlin’s work on context-aware middleware development.
- Renny Lindberg is a bachelor student from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences who will work in the Ubilife team during this semester. Renny’s role is to design and implement an innovative context-aware science learning environment ScienceSpots AR (more about this later!), particularly focusing on the client side. Renny will be in Korea until June 2014.
- Nina Hytönen is also a bachelor student from Haaga-Helia. She will work with Renny on the ScienceSpots AR, focusing on the server implementation. Nina will visit Korea in March but will work remotely from Finland most of the time.
- Dae Hwan Kim is a bachelor student at the Department of Digital Media at Ajou University. Dae Hwan will create media assets for a science learning game to be developed on the ScienceSpots AR system. Dae Hwan’s design process is supervised by Prof. Hae Jung Suk.
